The terms

1. Who you are dealing with

This site, lunaryearreading.com, is operated by The Lunar Almanac, an independent studio based in Freeport, New York, United States. Throughout this document "we" and "us" mean The Lunar Almanac, and "you" means the person using the site or buying a reading.

By using this site or buying anything on it, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, the remedy is simple: do not buy, and close the tab.

2. What we sell, and for how much

Everything we sell is a digital document. Nothing ships. There is no physical book, no subscription, and no recurring charge of any kind. Current products and prices:

• The personalized 2027 reading, $29. A PDF of roughly thirty pages, assembled from the birth details and quiz answers you give us.
• The partner reading, $17. An optional addition at checkout. It is fulfilled on your delivery page after purchase, where you enter the other person's birth details.
• The month-by-month timing calendar, $47 (offered at $27 if you decline the first price). Optional, offered once after purchase.
• The Four Pillars Day Master study, $37 (offered at $19 if you decline the first price). Optional, offered once after purchase.

Prices are in US dollars. The price displayed on the ClickBank order form at the moment you buy is the price that governs, and we may change prices for future customers at any time. Nothing here auto-renews and nothing bills you a second time without a second purchase.

Delivery

Your reading is delivered by email within minutes of purchase. The email contains a link to a delivery page where you download the PDF, and that link stays live for at least twelve months from the date of purchase. If it has not arrived within an hour, the support page tells you what to check and how to reach us. We resend by hand, free, for as long as you own the reading.

3. ClickBank is the retailer

ClickBank is the retailer and merchant of record for products sold on this site. ClickBank processes the payment, holds the funds, and issues refunds. We never see or store your card number. Your purchase is also subject to ClickBank's own terms and conditions, and the charge appears on your statement as CLKBANK*COM.

Refunds are covered by a 60-day money-back guarantee, set out in full on the refund policy page. That policy is part of these terms.

4. Your license to use the reading

When you buy a reading, you own a copy. We keep the copyright. What you get is a permanent, personal, non-transferable license to read, print, and keep the document for your own private use.

Print it. Mark up the margins as hard as you like. Showing a page to a friend across a kitchen table is fine by us.

You may not resell it, republish it, post it publicly, upload it to a file-sharing site or a content library, translate it for distribution, use it as training data for a machine learning system, or strip our name off it and pass the writing as your own. You may not use any part of it in a commercial product or service, including a paid reading you sell to someone else.

The text, the chart engine, the templates behind the readings, the site design, and the name The Lunar Almanac all remain ours. Buying a reading does not transfer any of it to you.

5. What a reading is, and what it is not

Our readings draw on the traditional Chinese zodiac calendar, its twelve-year animal cycle, its five elements, and the twelve two-hour branches of the day. We take the tradition seriously and we do the calendar arithmetic carefully, particularly the lunar boundary that decides which animal a January or February birthday belongs to.

What we sell is offered for insight, self-reflection, and entertainment. That framing is not a legal shrug. It is what we actually believe the work is good for.

6. Your side of it

You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us.

The reading is built from what you type. A wrong birth year produces a reading for somebody who does not exist, so check your entries before you submit them. If you catch a mistake later, tell us and we re-cast the reading free.

If you buy the partner reading, you are telling us you have a reasonable basis to enter that person's birth details. Do not submit information about someone who would object to it.

Do not attempt to break, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the site or the delivery system. Do not use the site for anything unlawful.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the site and your delivery page running without interruption, and no website manages that perfectly. We may take the site down for maintenance, change or retire products, or stop selling a given reading. Your access to something you already bought survives those changes for at least twelve months, and we will keep a copy of your reading available for as long as we reasonably can. Download your PDF and keep it somewhere safe. That copy is yours regardless of what happens to us.

8. Limitation of liability

Our readings are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that a reading will be accurate about you, useful to you, or uninterrupted in its delivery.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Lunar Almanac and anyone working with us will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, income, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of this site or any reading, even where we have been advised such damage was possible. Our total liability to you for any claim connected to a reading is capped at the amount you actually paid us for it.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions of warranty or limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your 60-day money-back guarantee, which stands on its own.

9. Indemnity

You agree to hold The Lunar Almanac harmless from claims brought by a third party arising out of your misuse of a reading, your breach of these terms, or your submission of another person's information without a reasonable basis.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled by writing to each other first will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York, and you and we both consent to that jurisdiction.

We would rather it never comes to that. Nearly everything people write to us about is solved by a resent file or a refund, and both are free.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes, and the version in force at the moment of your purchase is the one that governs that purchase. Anything material gets called out at the top of this page.

12. Severability and entire agreement

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with the refund policy and the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about the readings, and they replace anything said elsewhere.
